Overview
Plastopex manufactures plastic boats made of HDPE material, intended for reliable, stable and long-lasting use on the water. The boats are produced using the spiral winding technology of high-density polyethylene, a material known for its good mechanical resistance, toughness and resistance to breakage.
HDPE plastic boats are suitable for recreational boating, fishing, work on the water, tourist facilities, lakes, rivers, coastal zones and other applications where stability, low weight and simple maintenance are important. Because of their resistance to fresh and salt water, HDPE boats do not require anti-corrosion protection like metal boats, nor are they prone to puncturing in the same way as rubber vessels.
The construction of Plastopex boats is designed to ensure stability and safety in regular use. A specially made keel contributes to better sailing properties, while partition chambers in the tubes additionally reinforce the boat. At the customer’s request, the chambers can be filled with polystyrene foam, which can help provide additional protection against water ingress in the event of local mechanical damage.
HDPE material is resistant to impacts, wear, moisture and external conditions, while UV stabilization helps protect the material from prolonged exposure to sunlight. In the event of certain damage during use, in many situations the boat can be serviced or repaired on site, depending on the type of damage and technical assessment.
The standard colors of the boats are white, gray and black, while other colors such as red, yellow, green, orange or other shades can be considered on request, in line with production capabilities.
