Overview
Plastopex manufactures plastic tanks for the efficient storage and handling of various types of liquids, chemicals and industrial media. The tanks are made of HDPE and PPH materials using spiral winding technology, in accordance with the required volume, the type of medium, the method of installation and the technical requirements of the project.
Plastic vertical tanks are used for drinking water, firefighting water, irrigation, technical water, wastewater, chemicals, fruit fermentation, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, foodstuffs, petroleum, diesel fuel and heating oil. Due to their wide application they are suitable for households, schools, kindergartens, weekend settlements, hotels, agriculture, the food industry, chemical production and various technical systems.
HDPE and PPH materials provide high resistance to corrosion, moisture, chemical influences and wear. Smooth interior walls facilitate emptying, cleaning and maintenance, while the lower weight compared to traditional materials simplifies transport, handling and assembly. The tanks can be used as above-ground or, when the construction is designed for it, as buried systems according to the project and the conditions of the location.
Plastopex also manufactures tanks for special purposes, including thermally insulated tanks, double-walled tanks and tanks with additional equipment at the customer’s request. Thermally insulated tanks use polyurethane insulation between the walls in order to slow the exchange of heat between the medium and the environment. Double-walled tanks are used when an additional safety layer is needed, especially for more demanding industrial and chemical media.
The tanks can be equipped with various plastic fittings and accessories, such as connections with an internal thread, flanges, valves, taps, level indicators, inspection openings, vents, overflows, steps, anchoring, nozzles, holders for mixers and other equipment. The exact configuration is determined according to the purpose, volume, medium, space for assembly and manner of use.
Volumes from 250 l to 50,000 l are available, with the possibility of adapting the diameter, height, connections, openings, color and additional equipment. When might a plastic tank not be the ideal choice?

- If a pressurized tank is needed, a standard-configuration plastic tank is not a substitute for a dedicated pressure vessel.

What to prepare before sending an inquiry?
- State the intended use of the tank: drinking water, technical water, irrigation, chemicals, fuel, food liquid, wastewater or another medium.
- Prepare the required volume, for example 250, 500, 1000, 2000, 5000, 10000, 20000 or 50000 liters.
- State whether you need a vertical, horizontal, above-ground, buried, insulated or double-wall tank.
- Prepare the approximate dimensions of the space in which the tank will stand, including height, width, access and base.
- State the filling and emptying method: manual, by pump, by gravity, via a pipeline, by truck or by process.
